This Regional Grocery Chain Just Added a New Customer Perk
In an effort to help customers live healthier lives, Schnucks , a regional grocery chain in the Midwest with over 100 locations, has kicked off Good For You, a free wellness program that allows Rewards members to track their healthier purchases and earn rewards along the way.
Customers who opt in to the program will be able to view the total number of Good For You products they purchase, as well as the percentage of purchased food items that are classified under the program. Additionally, all members will have access to special offers, recipes, wellness tips, a fitness library, and monthly reports to help them measure the progress of their healthy food purchases.

Powered by food search and discovery technology from Spoon Guru, a London-based global AI nutrition technology start-up, the Good For You roster of items is reflective of the 2020-25 Dietary Guidelines for Americans, as well as recommendations from the Food and Drug Administration, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and American Heart Association.
"As a neighborhood grocery store looking to build happier, healthier communities, Schnucks wants to help our customers take a step forward on their health journey," Allison Primo, Schnucks' Health and Wellness Strategy Manager, said in a statement. "…The Good For You list simplifies making healthy choices to help Schnucks shoppers eat, feel and live healthier."
To add more incentives to the list, the Saint Louis-based grocery chain will give $1,000 in Schnucks Rewards points to five participants who join the Good For You program before Feb. 28. Currently, there are Schnucks locations in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky.
